Overview
RevStx LLC ("RevStx," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on revstx.com. This Cookie Policy explains what those technologies are, which ones we actually run, why we use them, and how you can control them.
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly. If there is a conflict between the two, the Privacy Policy controls.
We are a B2B revenue operations firm. We do not sell advertising, and we do not sell your personal information. The cookies on this site exist to keep the site working, to measure how it performs, and to let prospective clients book time with our team.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. Related technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as "cookies."
Cookies are either first-party (set by revstx.com) or third-party (set by a provider whose code runs on our pages, such as Google). They are also either session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Cookies We Use
The table below reflects the technologies deployed on revstx.com as of the effective date. We review it whenever we add or remove a tool.
| Category | Provider / Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | WordPress (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*, wordpress_test_cookie) | Login state, security, and site preferences for administrators and logged-in users. Not set for ordinary visitors. | Session to 1 year |
| Strictly necessary | Hosting and security layer (e.g. Cloudflare, Newfold) | Bot mitigation, load balancing, and delivery of the site. Contains no personal profile data. | Session to 30 days |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and approximate location so we can see which content works. IP addresses are truncated by Google. We use this data in aggregate only. | Up to 2 years |
| Functional | WPForms | Spam prevention and form-state handling when you submit a contact or audit request form. No cross-site tracking. | Session |
| Functional (when embedded) | Scheduling and CRM embeds (e.g. Calendly, HubSpot) | Where a page embeds a booking calendar or CRM form, that provider may set its own cookies to run the embed and attribute the submission. Governed by the provider's own policy. | Per provider |
revstx.com does not use advertising pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads), session-replay tools, or cross-site retargeting cookies. If that changes, we will update this table and, where required, ask for your consent before those tools load.
Why We Use Them
We use cookies for four reasons only:
- Operation. Keeping the site secure and functional, including protecting forms from automated abuse.
- Measurement. Understanding which pages, articles, and calculators prospective clients actually use, so we can invest in the content that matters.
- Attribution. Knowing whether an audit request came from search, LinkedIn, a referral partner, or direct traffic. This informs where we spend, not who you are.
- Booking. Letting you schedule a pipeline audit call without leaving the site.
Third-Party Cookies
Third parties whose cookies may appear on revstx.com, and where to read their policies:
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager) — policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Calendly (when a booking embed is present) — calendly.com/legal/cookie-policy
- HubSpot (when a CRM form or chat embed is present) — legal.hubspot.com/cookie-policy
We do not control third-party cookies. Their use is governed by the relevant provider's privacy and cookie policies, and we choose vendors that offer their own opt-out mechanisms.
Managing & Opting Out
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent forms or logged-in features from working. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop GA from collecting data on any site.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information to the extent required by California law.
- Email us. Send cookie or tracking requests to privacy@revstx.com.
California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, some uses of third-party analytics cookies may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. RevStx does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information. If we ever begin doing so, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and honor opt-outs before any such cookies load.
Your broader California rights, including access, deletion, and correction, are described in the California Privacy Rights section of our Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change tracking technologies. The "Last Updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on this page for at least 30 days.
