Overview & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using anything RevStx LLC ("RevStx," "we," "our," or "us") provides: the revstx.com website, client portals and reports, and every system we configure, operate, or monitor on a client's behalf, including CRM environments, email sending infrastructure, outbound calling numbers, branded caller ID registrations, and automation workflows (together, the "Services").
This AUP is part of our Terms of Service and every Statement of Work. Where a SOW imposes stricter rules, the SOW controls. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Our business is fixing revenue engines for regulated industries. Outbound calling and email only work when they are done lawfully and reputably. This policy exists to protect your numbers, your domains, your customers, and our ability to deliver results.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services, and may not permit anyone using systems we configure for you, to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), the CAN-SPAM Act, the Truth in Caller ID Act, state mini-TCPA and telemarketing registration laws, and the rules of the FCC, FTC, SEC, FINRA, CFPB, and state financial, insurance, and real estate regulators.
- Place calls or send messages to numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry, state DNC lists, or your internal DNC list without a valid exemption or documented consent.
- Transmit misleading, inaccurate, or spoofed caller ID information, or use any number, brand name, or CNAM display you are not entitled to use.
- Send commercial email to addresses that were purchased, scraped, harvested, or obtained without permission, or send email that lacks a working unsubscribe mechanism and a valid physical postal address.
- Make false, unbalanced, or unsubstantiated claims about investment returns, loan terms, insurance coverage, or guaranteed outcomes, or omit disclosures required by law.
- Impersonate any person, company, or government agency, or misrepresent your affiliation with RevStx.
- Upload or distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or interfere with the operation or security of the Services or any third-party platform.
- Use the Services to collect, process, or transmit personal information in violation of the Privacy Policy, applicable privacy law, or the terms of any data source.
- Resell, sublicense, or share access to the Services, tools, registrations, or deliverables with any third party without our written consent.
Outbound Calling Standards
Clients who use numbers, dialers, or caller ID registrations that RevStx sets up or manages agree to the following minimum standards. These are also the conditions under which carriers and analytics providers keep a number in good standing.
- Consent and DNC. Maintain records of consent where required. Scrub lists against the National DNC Registry at least every 31 days and against state lists as required, and honor internal opt-out requests immediately.
- Calling hours. No calls before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. in the recipient's local time, or within any narrower window required by state law.
- Identification. State your company name and the purpose of the call promptly. Use only numbers registered to your business, with accurate CNAM and branded caller ID information.
- Calling behavior. Follow the calling behavior rules document RevStx delivers at onboarding, including limits on daily attempts per number, redial intervals, call duration patterns, and number rotation. Short-duration, high-volume, low-answer calling is the single biggest cause of spam labels.
- Number ownership. Use only numbers you own or lease through a carrier or VoIP provider that supports STIR/SHAKEN attestation. Do not use numbers obtained from unverified resellers.
- Automated dialing. Use autodialers, prerecorded messages, or AI voice agents only where you have the level of consent the TCPA requires for that technology.
Caller ID & Number Reputation
Carriers and analytics providers (including Hiya, TNS, and First Orion) decide independently how a number is labeled. RevStx registers, monitors, disputes, and remediates. We do not control carrier algorithms and no provider can guarantee a number will never be flagged.
Accordingly:
- Remediation services depend on the client following the Outbound Calling Standards above. Labels caused by abusive or non-compliant calling patterns fall outside the scope of remediation and may be excluded from any service commitment.
- We may decline to register, or may deregister, any number used in violation of this AUP, and may notify carriers or registries where required by their terms.
- Business verification information submitted for branded caller ID, Free Caller Registry, or carrier registration must be accurate and current. Knowingly submitting false verification data is a material breach.
We can get your numbers registered, branded, and clean. We cannot keep them clean if your team dials in a way that carriers classify as spam. Follow the calling rules and the system works.
Email Sending Standards
For domains and sending infrastructure that RevStx authenticates or manages:
- Send only from domains with valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured or approved by RevStx. Do not modify DNS authentication records without notifying us.
- Keep spam complaint rates below 0.3% and aim for under 0.1%, consistent with Google and Yahoo bulk sender requirements. Sustained complaint rates above 0.3% may result in suspension of sending until the cause is fixed.
- Include one-click unsubscribe headers and honor unsubscribe requests within two business days, and in any event within the 10-business-day period required by CAN-SPAM.
- Do not send to purchased, rented, or scraped lists, and do not re-engage contacts who have unsubscribed or bounced as invalid.
- Warm up new domains and mailboxes on the schedule RevStx provides. Do not exceed agreed daily sending volumes during warm-up.
Data & Systems Access
Where RevStx is granted access to a client's CRM, dialer, email platform, DNS, or analytics accounts:
- Access will be provisioned on a least-privilege basis using named user accounts wherever the platform supports it. Clients should not share personal login credentials with RevStx staff.
- Client data is used only to deliver the contracted Services and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the confidentiality terms of the Terms of Service.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the right to give RevStx access to the data in their systems, including any personal information of their customers and prospects.
- Clients must revoke RevStx access promptly at the end of an engagement, and RevStx will confirm removal of any stored credentials.
Monitoring & Enforcement
We monitor number reputation, email deliverability metrics, and platform health as part of the Services. If we identify activity that violates this AUP, we may, at our discretion and without liability:
- Notify the client and require corrective action within a stated period;
- Pause remediation, registration, sending, or automation work until the issue is resolved;
- Suspend or terminate the affected Services or the engagement under the Termination provisions of the Terms of Service;
- Cooperate with carriers, platform providers, regulators, or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.
Fees for Services suspended due to an AUP violation remain payable. RevStx is not responsible for spam labels, domain blocklisting, platform suspensions, fines, or lost revenue that result from a client's violation of this AUP, and the client's indemnification obligations in the Terms of Service apply.
Reporting Abuse
If you believe a RevStx client, or anyone claiming to act for RevStx, has contacted you in violation of this policy, email legal@revstx.com with the phone number or email address involved, the date and time, and any message content. We investigate every report.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect changes in law, carrier and mailbox-provider requirements, or our Services. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date and, for active clients, communicated by email at least 15 days before they take effect.
